On your arrival at the Cochin Airport our representative will receive you and take to the hotel. Spend the afternoon with local sightseeing in and around Cochin - the “Queen of Arabian Sea”, this is one of the finest natural harbors in the world and was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portugese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay is arranged in Cochin.
Hotel - Fort Queen/ Broad Bean
Morning Proceed to Munnar. Munnar, “The Southern Kashmeer of Kerala”, located 1800 meters above Sea level. This hill station is marked by vast expanses of tea plantations, waterfalls and cool weather. A 4 hour scenic/picturesque drive to Munnar through hill station. Enroute visit Spice Plantations, Valara/Cheeyappara Falls. Arrival at a place which is called ‘nature’s lovers paradise’. On arrival check in at Hotel. Later in the day free for leisure. Overnight at Hotel in Munnar
Hotel - Green Cove Resort/ Green Ridge Hotel
Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar as you visit places such as Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Nursery Garden, Photo Point, Eravikulam National Park,( Closed in February & March ) which is well-known for Nilgiri Tahr, Anamudi Peak, which is the highest peak in South India, and Tata Tea Museum. In the evening, go on a Spice Tea Trailing and return to the hotel at night.
Hotel - Green Cove Resort/ Green Ridge Hotel
In the morning, drive to Thekkady. On arrival, check in at the hotel and refresh yourself. Later, head out for a half-day sightseeing tour of Thekkady. Enjoy the boat safari on the Periyar Lake through Periyar Tiger Reserve. Later, visit the spice plantations. In the evening, stroll along the colorful Spice Market in the Kumily Village. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served onboard. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Note : Houseboat stay is for Experience purpose only, dont expect luxury or hotel comfort as room size are small with limited resources. Each boat is different from another and comparison is not possible between two boat.
After breakfast check out from the House Boat / Hotel and drive to Cochin Airport / railway station (depend on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.
