In the morning after breakfast, we will proceed for the sightseeing tour of Coorg and have a good time. In our day tour, we will be visiting some of the major attractions of Coorg including and Madikeri Fort,Abbey Falls, Raja Seat,Omkareshwara Temple, etc. After
exploring these places, we will visit the immense spice and coffee plantation.
Omkareshwara temple in Madikeri was built in 1820 by Lingarajendra II in the Mumammadan style of architecture. It is an ancient shrine devoted to Lord Shiva and a major pilgrim center in Karnataka.
Madikeri Fort was initially discovered by Mudduraja in the second half of the 17th century. He built a palace inside the fort. It was finally rebuilt in stonework by Tipu Sultan who named the site as Jaffarabad. The fort represent the stories of the past and attract visitors especially history lovers. Morning proceed to Ooty. Ooty is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills, which is deep within the Nilgiri hills, is also known as The Blue Mountains, queen of hill stations. Morning depart to enjoy full day sightseeing tour of Ooty visiting Botanical Garden - spread over 22
hectares ascending the slopes, Rose Garden, Ooty Lake, Doddabetta - offers an unbelievably
beautiful view of the surrounding topography, Ooty View Point, Proceed to Coonoor. Coonoor is the
second largest hill station in the Nilgiris, surrounded by tea plantations, at an altitude of 1839
metres. Coonoor is essentially a small tea garden town where the weather remains pleasantly cool
throughout the year. On arrival visit Highfield Tea Factory, Lamb’s Rock, Dolphin’s Nose and Sim’s
